Responsibilities

  • Tear down, use chemicals to clean and sanitize, and reassemble equipment
  • Comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety and quality assurance practices.
  • Perform equipment and tool inspections
  • Operate industrial equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers

 

Requirements

  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness, with high standards for cleanliness
  • Team oriented and willingness to assist others
  • Follow instructions and adhere to management direction, demonstrate good judgement and work with integrity.
  • GED preferred
  • Previous experience in a sanitation role or food/beverage environment strongly preferred

QA Lead

The Quality Assurance Lead supervisors QA staff member to provide safe, quality food to our customers.  They will provide support and management of areas such as audits, training, labeling and process improvement projects.

 

Job Responsibilities

Lead and Mentor QA staff and provide training to all staff as needed.

Management of daily quality assurance and food safety Activities

Work with production supervisors to ensure product is within specifications

Conduct monthly audits, perform daily inspections

Perform label edits and approvals

Work closely with USDA and FDA to ensure compliance to federal regulations

Involvement in process improvement projects, centerline process and At the Ready Training

Lead SQF Facility Program and assure readiness for successful audit

 

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Food or Meat Science or relate field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years food industry experience with food safety/quality knowledge

Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills

Familiar with HACCP, GMP. SQF/SGFI concepts

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Operator

Our new, growing product lines need to have a smoothly operating Packaging and Mixing machines.

This is a 2nd shift opening.

REQUIREMENTS

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Production Equipment
  • Responsible for achieving machine uptime goals
  • Coordinate equipment improvements with Maintenance and Process Teams
  • Execute Equipment Changeovers
  • Perform maintenance to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtimes
  • Analyze and determine the root cause of equipment downtime
  • Support Team Lead in Work Cell operations
  • Train new Team members of specific duties and machine safety

Skills Requirement:

  • Be a Leader with LOTO and all safety programs
  • Basic Light industrial skills and machine troubleshooting skills
  • Tell good jokes when running the machine!
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
