Sanitation Team Member
The Quality Assurance Lead supervisors QA staff member to provide safe, quality food to our customers. They will provide support and management of areas such as audits, training, labeling and process improvement projects.
Lead and Mentor QA staff and provide training to all staff as needed.
Management of daily quality assurance and food safety Activities
Work with production supervisors to ensure product is within specifications
Conduct monthly audits, perform daily inspections
Perform label edits and approvals
Work closely with USDA and FDA to ensure compliance to federal regulations
Involvement in process improvement projects, centerline process and At the Ready Training
Lead SQF Facility Program and assure readiness for successful audit
Bachelor of Science degree in Food or Meat Science or relate field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years food industry experience with food safety/quality knowledge
Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
Familiar with HACCP, GMP. SQF/SGFI concepts
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Our new, growing product lines need to have a smoothly operating Packaging and Mixing machines.
This is a 2nd shift opening.
