Back in 2003, Grand Prairie Foods opened its doors with fewer than 20 employees. Today, our company supports hundreds of families and is still growing. We are so grateful to the community that has supported our growth. We believe that it is our responsibility to care for our community and to make it better than the way we found it.

Feeding South Dakota

You have read our statistics on hunger in South Dakota. You have given cans to our food drives. You may have even donated your time to our organization. So who are we? We are Feeding South Dakota. We are a hunger relief organization and we are fighting daily to eliminate hunger in this state. Most importantly, we are doing it with your help.

Siouxrise Lions Club

Since 1917 local Lions clubs have offered people just like you the opportunity to give something back to their community. Today, with over 1.35 Million men and women in more than 206 countries, Lions have expanded focus to help meet the ever increasing needs of our society.

Washington High School Booster club

The students of Washington High School bring a great deal of pride to the school and to the community through their involvement in personal achievement, sporting events, and fine arts activities. The Washington High School Booster Club provides financial and volunteer support to a number of the 50-some WHS activities.

The Banquet

Our mission is to equip volunteers to provide food and fellowship to those served through the ministry of The Banquet. We provide a safe place where people can gather, receive nourishment and experience love in action.

Lunch is served

Lunch. It’s something many of us take for granted. But there are many in our community who put in a full day of manual labor without the benefit of a noon meal. Lunch Is Served, Inc. is a nonprofit with the unique mission of delivering simple sack lunches for working men and women who are attempting to break the chains of poverty and hunger.

Post 307 Baseball

Welcome to Post 307 Baseball! We are a baseball program that currently fields teams at the Legion, Junior Legion and 14 U levels. Our Legion and Junior Legion programs compete in South Dakota Region 1A along with Huron, Watertown, Brookings and Aberdeen. In addition to our Legion based programs, Post 307 Baseball will have two teams competing at the 13 year old level.

Minnesota State Fair Foundation

The Minnesota State Fair Foundation preserves and improves the historic Minnesota State Fairgrounds, and supports State Fair agricultural, scientific and educational experiences.

President’s Bowl

President’s Bowl Committee of Sioux Falls is a non-profit corporation committed to the fundraising and support of the booster clubs of Sioux Falls Washington, Lincoln, and Roosevelt High Schools in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Each year, a committee of hundreds of parent-volunteers plans and executes a variety of fundraising activities designed to raise funds that are divided equally among the three clubs. Started in 1991, the first Presidents’ Bowl football games were played in the fall of 1992.

South Dakota Symphony Orchestra

As the state’s preeminent arts organization, the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra is nationally recognized as a driver for how an orchestra engages with its community. Founded in 1922 at Augustana University, the SDSO is now a fully professional 75-member orchestra with a history of performing in towns throughout South Dakota. The SDSO’s 10 subscription concerts feature a diverse mix of classical and pops programming. The SDSO’s home is the beautiful and acoustically superb Mary W. Sommervold Concert Hall at the Washington Pavilion. The orchestra’s nine full-time musicians make up the Dakota String Quartet and the Dakota Wind Quintet. These two ensembles perform over 100 times annually in schools, hospitals, senior living communities, behavioral health and community centers throughout the region.
